Join visiting L.A. filmmaker Colette Sandstedt and Docuclub Minnesota host Jon Steinhorst for a special presentation on Sandstedt’s work-in-progress feature documentary, Rocketman.

The evening will feature a selection of clips and candid conversation with Sandstedt and Rocketman subject and Bloomington native, Ky Michaelson, the pioneer behind the first amateur team to reach space with their “GoFast” rocket on May 17, 2004. Additional areas of discussion will include Colette’s career development and how to survive as a freelance filmmaker.

Docuclub Minnesota is an unofficial support group for makers and lovers of documentary films. Meetings are held the last Friday of the month at IFP MN.
