IFP Summer Camps 2016: Digital Photography (ages 12-17)

Starts June 20

Monday–Friday, June 20–24, 12–4 pm

Learn how to make the most of your manual digital SLR camera to make excellent photographs and expand your creative vision! We’ll shoot at interesting urban locations around IFP, and also in a studio lit environment. You’ll learn how to sort through and catalog your photograph collection in Adobe Lightroom and how to use basic Photoshop techniques to complete your artistic vision. Objectives include learning manual settings, framing shots in-camera utilizing compositional elements like lines, angle and symmetry, gaining an awareness of lighting effects, and basic photo editing skills. Please bring a DSLR camera with manual settings each day with a minimum 4GB memory card and charged battery, and at least one lens.

Tuition: $240
