Introduction to Motion Graphics with Adobe After Effects [Virtual]

Starts November 6

Online. 3 sessions: Mondays, November 6-20, 6:30-8:30pm CT

Learn how to animate shapes, text, and photos in Adobe After Effects, the industry-standard motion graphics and visual effects software. Topics include using the shape tool and the pen tool to create objects; using the transform tools to rotate, grow, shrink, and move shapes and text; and creating Ken Burns style pans and zooms to add interest to your photos. Participants should have basic video editing experience. Because this online class is hands-on and interactive, students need a computer (Mac or PC) with Adobe Adobe After Effects CC to participate.

NOTE: Participation in this online course requires that you use the free Zoom cloud-based video conferencing service. For optimal performance it is recommended that you install Zoom on your computer rather than running it from a web browser. We’ll e-mail you a course reminder and Zoom link a few days prior to the first session. Click here for a Zoom tutorial.

Tuition: $185 regular | $140 member | $105 low-income
