Pro Phone Photography (Online, Ages 11-15)

Starts August 3

Monday-Friday, August 3-7, 9am-12pm

Make amazing photos with nothing more than your cell phone! In this camp, you’ll learn about composition, light, editing, and how to tell stories with your images. Participants will explore their own homes and nearby locations and learn how to work with different apps for shooting and editing to improve your images. Also included in this camp will be tips for sharing your images on Instagram, Facebook, and other social media platforms. There will be plenty of examples to learn from, and also some in-class editing demonstrations. No previous photography experience required, but you’ll need a charged cell phone for taking photos, editing, and sharing.

Students should have their iPhone or Android phone (and charger) with at least 3GB of space available. iPads are also welcome. Students will download any necessary free apps on the first day of camp.

NOTE: Participation in this online camp requires that you use the free Zoom cloud-based video conferencing service. For optimal performance, it is highly recommended that you install Zoom on your computer rather than running it from a web browser. For extra security, a few days prior to the class start date we’ll e-mail you the link, ID, and password needed to access this class on Zoom. The instructor will be provided a student roster to take attendance. Click here for a tutorial on how to join a Zoom meeting and much more.

Tuition: $125
