Monday–Friday, August 8–12, 12–4 pm

Flat is where it’s at! This camp takes you on a journey into the colorfully wonderful—and also flat—world of two-dimensional animation. You’ll learn how to use professional software to create simple and complex animated movies. You’ll design and rig your own animated characters so they can interact with the worlds and story you create from your imagination.

Tuition: $240

John Akre practices, studies, and lives animation. He is working on his third animated feature and has made over 70 animated shorts using a wide variety of animation techniques. His films have won several awards and have shown around the world in venues that include the Louvre museum in Paris. John features his work on his website www.sloppyfilms.net.
