Filmmaking with Intention

Pixelation Animation: Get Physical!

Ages 10-14. July 25-29, 9am-12pm Students will explore embodied filmmaking through pixelation techniques. Pixelation is a stop motion animation technique in which the body is the subject in the frame (as opposed to inanimate objects or drawings). Through guided improvisation exercises, students will learn how to break down movements and gestures into tiny increments for each frame, acting as a stop motion puppet. July 25-29, 1-4pm In this brainstorming class, students will dive deep into their personal creative processes using unique and unusual methods: journaling, sculpting, writing, collaboration, improv, and more.
