Director Norah Shapiro Receives Library of Congress Lavine/Ken Burns Prize

Norah Shapiro’s new documentary MAGIC & MONSTERS was named the 2024 Library of Congress Lavine/Ken Burns Prize for Film runner-up at a lavish ceremony at the Library of Congress in Washington, DC with addresses by Speaker Hakeem Jeffries, Senator Mitt Romney, and legendary documentarian Ken Burns, amongst others. Congresswoman Ilhan Omar also attended, along with a large Minnesota contingent to cheer Norah on.
