What are some of your long-term goals?
What are some of the specific challenges your project faces (time or financial constraints etc.) It’s okay to be candid. We understand that new projects face lots of challenges in getting off the ground and we just want to know that you have thought about them! (Limit: 700 words)
Funding Strategies(Required) How will you fund your project’s activities?
What is your overall strategy for raising the funds required to implement the project as described. Who do you plan to approach for funding?

If the key leadership and personnel have already been working on the project in question, what have been their contributions to date?
Your project should have an advisory board or advisory committee. Unlike a nonprofit board, the advisory board does not have legal responsibility for your project (that is the role of the FilmNorth board of directors), however the advisory board members will fulfill some of the roles usually held by a board of directors including resource development, serving as ambassadors for the project and providing oversight and guidance in the project’s activities and dealings. We recommend a minimum of 2 advisory board members in addition to the project director.
Names and descriptions of any additional people who will be working with you closely as volunteers and/or staff. (Limit: 700 words)
Budget(Required) Provide a comprehensive budget for the first year of operations under fiscal sponsorship. Include estimates of all revenue sources and amounts, and all expenses to be paid for with funding received through fiscal sponsorship. We do not require any specific software or format, but the budget should be typed and broken down on a line item basis in the form of a spreadsheet. A budget cover sheet or narrative budget summary alone is not adequate. The budget is a working document and we expect that it will change frequently. It’s okay to use estimates and to update it after your project’s acceptance in the fiscal sponsorship program.
Budget Notes Provide notes or explanation for any unusual line items or budget areas that require further explanation.
Certificate of Good Standing If you recently formed an LLC then we will accept a copy of you filing with the State.
