Lost Forty
Description
Lost Forty Studios, named for the famous old-growth forest in northern Minnesota, was founded in 2022 by Karl Gajdusek (Stranger Things, Oblivion, The King’s Man) along with partners Megan Huber, Matt Roy, Nick Swedlund and Wyatt McDill. In its initial year, Lost Forty Studios was integral in bringing out-of-town projects Cash for Gold – an independent feature – and the TV pilot CanUSA Street to the Iron Range, as well as Merry KissCam, filmed in Duluth and distributed by Hulu. In the fall, Lost Forty also produced an original comedy feature – The Fun-Raiser – inside its vast studio in Chisholm.
In order to keep the studio space operational, Lost Forty Studios is seeking $50,000 to cover operating costs for the next 1.5- 2 years.
