Falcon (Abdul-Rahman Sakr)

Falcon (Abdul-Rahman Sakr) is an Arab American filmmaker who recently completed his Masters in Filmmaking from London Film School. Prior to that he worked in the comedy industry as a performer and screenwriter in the Middle East and the U.S., where he studied improv at Second City and was able to create and write several shows and series that were broadcast on TV and online video platforms. He also was a video editor at Al Jazeera English in Doha, Qatar. During his time in Doha, Falcon enrolled in a filmmaking course with the New York Film Academy and branched out into filmmaking, creating an online series, Harassing Sensei, with the author of The Gospel of Damascus, Omar Imady. Most recently he directed Batul, a fiction short film based on a story by Omar Imady, which revisits the infamous chemical attack that happened on the 21st of August, 2013 in Ghouta, Syria.
