John Akre

John Akre practices, studies, teaches, and lives animation. He has made over 100 animated shorts using a wide variety of animation techniques. His films have won several awards and have shown around the world. For years he helped young people and adults in the Twin Cities of Minnesota explore and excel in the many modes of media expression, and currently he does similar work in Louisville, Kentucky.
