Wayne Johnson

Wayne Johnson has 23 years of filmmaking, multimedia, motion graphics, visual effects, and video production experience. Currently, he is a freelance producer, director, editor, and educator, working on video and film projects of various complexities including NBCUniversal’s E! Online. Wayne has over 15 years’ experience leading a creative team as a producer and director. Overseeing, coaching, collaborating with, and managing visual effects artists, camera operators, production artists, art directors, set designers, make-up artists, actors, graphic designers, sound designers, animators, and writers. He has led creative teams on music videos, television commercials, short films, corporate video, and training videos as well as animation and motion graphics projects. Wayne was the VFX Producer on Shockwave Darkside where he oversaw the creation of over 1000 visual effects in 3D. Previously Wayne was the Program Chair of the Digital Video and Media Production program for the Minnesota School of Business, where he developed and managed a comprehensive video production Associate Degree program and grew it to over 100 students.
