Introduction to DaVinci Resolve

Starts April 20

2 sessions: Saturday-Sunday, April 20-21, 10:00 am-2:00 pm

DaVinci Resolve was once the standard go to platform for color correction only – an expensive hardware-based platform that only high budget projects and studios could access. After being acquired by Black Magic Design, Resolve has begun a journey into post production at every level today and is a one-stop shop for all phases of post-production. Its editor rivals Avid and Premiere, and the ease at which one can do sound design and finish without the need for moving a project from one shop to another makes Resolve a great place for aspiring editors to handle their projects.

This workshop will teach you the basics of Resolve, general editing techniques, and introduce you to color correction. Participants will edit a short piece together. By the end of the workshop you’ll have successfully learned the basics and be able to head home with the free version of DaVinci Resolve and start working on your own projects.
